Choosing to seek professional help is a difficult and brave decision. I am glad you have courageously embarked upon this journey, and I am glad you found me!
Psychotherapy is a special, intimate collaboration between therapist and client. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to heal from unresolved wounds and to embrace their power to create a more fulfilling and peaceful relationship with themselves and others.
As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I adopt a holistic, strengths-based, and person-in-environment perspective. My therapeutic approach is based on EMDR protocol, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed, compassionate, flexible, and insight-oriented. Every client deserves to feel confident, capable, and empowered to effect change in themselves and their surroundings.
My experience includes working with individuals suffering from anxiety disorders, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Prior to opening up my private practice, I worked in settings including community mental health, hospital, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient medical clinic. I’ve also had the unique opportunity to develop an advanced skill-set working with individuals living with physical and cognitive limitations due to chronic physiological illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis. I am a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist (MSCS).
I welcome you as you are and where you are! Ready to hear and do more? Please contact me to determine if we are a good match to work together. I look forward to hearing from you.
